1st July 2015	We have updated our privacy policy to provide clearer information about what data we collect and how your data is used. We will use information provided by you to build a profile of your behaviour and interests to assign segmentations to your profile. We will share limited information about your segmentation with third parties that engage us to carry out market research. These third parties may combine this information with other data collected about your browsing habits on their websites and those of their affiliated partners. We may share your data with companies and individuals that we employ to perform functions on our behalf. We will always ensure that such companies and individuals treat your information securely and confidentially.
27th November 2013	The changes provide you with more information about our use of cookies and how you can control the cookies you receive. As part of our research we also check for cookies that are placed when specific adverts or web pages are viewed. These are known as Behavioural and Advertising Research cookies, and you can choose not to accept these cookies through a link on our Privacy Policy. Cookies placed on our websites may also be used by selected partners to help target online advertising more effectively. The number or type of ads you see online are not directly affected by accepting these cookies.
1st April 2011	When you visit our websites we may check for cookies that are left on your machine you view specific adverts or web pages online to help us to measure whether online marketing activities influence purchase behaviour. You may opt out if you do not wish to participate in this aspect of the ShopandScan panel.
