Problem Solving

Having trouble scanning or transmitting your barcodes or is there something wrong with your Clicker?

Below are some solutions for any problems you may have with using your clicker to scan barcodes. If you can't find your problem then contact us.

Q1. There is no indicator light on top of the clicker when I try to scan
Q2. The clicker still beeps but the indicator light on top turns red instead of green
Q3. No red scanning beam
Q4. The red beam will not read barcodes






Q1. I have no indicator light on top of the scanner when I try to scan

Your Clicker's battery may need to be recharged. The Clicker has a rechargeable battery which is charged via the USB cable. Connect the Clicker to your computer using the USB cable provided and switch on your computer. The light on the Clicker should turn red, indicating that it is charging. Once the Clicker is fully charged the indicator will turn green.

If the indicator light does not turn on when the Clicker is connected to your PC then please contact us.

Q2.The clicker still beeps but the indicator light on top turns red instead of green

If you see a steady red light when pressing the Clicker button it means that the Clicker's memory is full of barcodes.

You must transmit your barcodes before you can scan anymore.

Q3. No red scanning beam

Please check the colour of the indicator light on top of the Clicker when you try to scan. The indicator should flash green when you press the button.
